Role Overview:
As the Solutions Sales Specialist – Networks & Security (NOC & SOC), you will play a pivotal role in a newly created position that offers the exciting opportunity to grow sales, establish a dedicated team, and develop a new department within Protos Networks. This role comes with clear leadership progression potential, allowing you to shape the future of our sales organisation. You will drive new business growth across multiple architectures, focusing on networking and security solutions. Additionally, you will work closely with our SDR team to design and execute impactful sales campaigns while engaging with clients to identify their needs and deliver innovative, tailored solutions.
Responsibilities
- Sales Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to generate new business for our Network and Security solutions.
- Sales Development: Identify, qualify, and close high-value sales opportunities across multiple verticals.
- Sales Development: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through self-sourced leads, networking, referrals, our SDR Team and strategic partnerships.
- Sales Delivery: Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs, demonstrating consistent performance and growth.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives in Managed NOC and SOC services while laying the groundwork for team and departmental growth.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers across target industries to understand their challenges and technology requirements.
- Solution Development: Design and present tailored technology visions that integrate our offerings, including Cisco Secure Client, Cisco Firepower, Cisco Umbrella, Level Blue USM, and Crowdstrike EDR.
- Collaboration: Partner with the SDR team to develop compelling sales campaigns that drive engagement and conversion.
- Team Development: Contribute to hiring, mentoring, and building a high-performing sales team as the department grows.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to position Protos Networks as a thought leader in network and security solutions.
- Vendor Collaboration: Leverage relationships with Cisco and Level Blue to enhance solution offerings and co-marketing opportunities.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key sales metrics, ensuring alignment with company growth targets.
Skills & Experience
- Experience:

- Minimum of 5+ years in a technical sales role, preferably within the networking or cybersecurity industries.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in complex B2B environments.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Managed NOC and SOC services, MDR solutions, and vendor technologies, notably Cisco, Level Blue and Crowdstrike.
- Skills:
- Exceptional ability to identify and articulate client needs and align them with tailored technology solutions.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, with an ambition for career progression.
