Network Sales Specialist (Cisco Meraki) – £35,000 – £40,000 (DoE) – £60,000 OTE (Uncapped)

Due to our growth plans, we are recruiting for a highly motivated and dynamic Network Sales Specialist primarily focusing on Cisco Meraki sales. This role involves extensive prospecting, pipeline development, conducting pre-sales calls and demonstrations, managing customers throughout the sales process whilst clearly demonstrating Protos Networks value add whilst maintaining effective communication with partners and suppliers. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:
  •  Identify potential customers and opportunities within the target market.
  • Maintain and expand a database of qualified leads.
  • Utilise various prospecting methods, including cold calls, email campaigns, networking events, and market research.
  1. Pipeline Building:
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Implement strategies to convert leads into qualified opportunities.
  1. Pre-Sales Calls and Demonstrations:
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-sales needs assessments to understand clients’ networking requirements.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations to showcase the advantages of Cisco Meraki solutions.
  • Communicate the value proposition of Cisco Meraki products and services.
  1. Managing the Sales Process:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical experts and support staff, to provide tailored solutions to clients.
  • Prepare and present proposals and quotes addressing client-specific needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to efficiently close deals.
  • Monitor and track deal progress within the sales pipeline.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Ensure a seamless transition to the post-sales team for customer onboarding and support.
  1. Communication with Partners and Suppliers:
  • Foster and maintain effective relationships with partners and suppliers, including Cisco.
  • Stay informed about the latest product developments and updates from suppliers.
  • Collaborate with partners to provide the best solutions for clients.

Skills & Experience

Experience, Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in network sales, with a strong emphasis on Cisco Meraki solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking technologies, including cloud-managed networking, security, and wireless solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • A consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM systems and sales tools is a plus.
  • Experience selling Cisco products is highly advantageous.
  • Networking experience would be advantageous.
